Hello everyone!
It certainly has been a while hasn't it? I don't want to bore you too much as to why I went on a brief "hiatus," so I'll just quickly summarize it: I lost all my pictures and school left me too busy to replace any of them with new blog posts. However, with applications all done and my extracurricular activities almost taking a pause, I am finally left with time to blog again. Oh happy days!
Today, I was fortunate enough to participate in a VDSC event, otherwise known as a district-wide student council meeting. It was so intriguing to be informed of upcoming events and current issues, as well as compare marketing techniques between schools. I seized this "out-of-school" opportunity and decided to bring my trusty camera along with me to document my outfit. This month is going to be a hectic one filled with new beginnings and creations, but I am so excited for what's to come.
One of my go-to looks has always involved the classic Peter Pan collar. I am in love with how sleek and polished a nice collar can make any outfit look. That said, this sewn in layered sweater-button-down hybrid is the
perfect piece for me. It takes a second to throw on but seems like I spent hours planning this look! Not to mention, it goes perfectly with oversize structured coats, another personal fave of mine. Paired with simple skinny jeans and matching ankle boots, I can easily say this look is one for the ages.
Fun fact: I can't remember if I was actually laughing in the photo or if this was just really carefully staged.
