purple haze

After a long hiatus, I am back and hopefully things will stay that way! With exams over and school out of the picture, it feels like a boulder has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm beyond excited for what summer has in store; for me, those summer adventures began a few days ago. I decided to commemorate the beginning of freedom by going out to get tacos with my friend, and us being us, found ourselves at a jazz festival and just wandering around downtown. Aah, the sweet taste of no commitments.

I have an extreme obsession with printed rompers that will not be going away anytime soon. I got this adorable one from Urban Outfitters during Spring Break and finally got the chance to wear it out. I'm in love with the beautiful mix of purples and just the overall floral print; I feel like it's a very fresh and feminine look. To kind of go along with the casual look, I paired it with a simple denim jacket, minimal accessories, and my (new) go-to classic Michael Kors handbag. However, to add a bit of edge and quirky-ness, I went for my low-top Doc Marten-esque shoes, and long white socks. I'm in love with the little kid, yet odd look pairing long socks with low-top shoes gives off.

My go-to shoe combination for a while now. Little bit schoolboy, little bit quirky, 100% loving it.

I absolutely adore structured bags. The clean-cut edges give off such a sophisticated look and make any outfit seem much more polished. I'm in love with not only the style, but the colour of this Michael Kors bag. It goes with any and every outfit I could think of!

I guess Downtown Vancouver is sort of pretty. I mean, I guess.

Yes, this is me desperately trying to look like I'm in some deep, coming-of-age indie movie.

Here's some more "try-hard, indie, coming-of-age" pictures I took. Wow. Perks of Being a
Wallflower 2, here I come.
