crisp classic

While I usually like to post and document outfits involving certain standout pieces (ie, printed rompers, fancy jackets, etc), I've come to the realization that I should blog more about the outfits that I, in my opinion, neglect. The combinations that I've deemed my "go-to" outfits, or just simply not fancy or unique enough to blog about. Enough with that! Starting with this outfit I wore while in London, I will begin my journey into posting my casual outfits (what a dramatic lead-up to a not-so-dramatic post). Anyways, on with the look!

When I find myself in times of trouble, I find that going with skinny jeans is always a good choice. Considering London was a lot colder than I expected it to be, shorts were completely out of the options, leaving me with either these jeans or my boyfriend jeans (as you can see, I went with the first). To make my outfit a little bit more formal, I wore my white silk camisole with lace details as it gave my look a more classy and classic feel. I topped the look off with my new thin blazer-like jacket from Zara (thin enough for summer, but long enough for the London winds), and simple ballet flats.
