London Travel Diary - Part 3

I have a terrible tendency of procrastinating when it comes to making travel diaries. Ooops.... anyways! Hopefully I'll be on my A-game these next few days and can just breeze by my remaining London days so I can move on to Paris. Honestly, at this rate it seems like I live in London. Anyways, on with the post!

A hearty breakfast is required in order to power through a busy day!

We began our third day in London by the London Eye across the water from Big Ben! It was quite a sight to begin the day. Sadly, we couldn't go on the London Eye since the lineup was what seemed like miles long. So, instead we opted to just take pics around the area and continue on with our day.

Be prepared for a brief spam of the glorious Big Ben as I have a bad tendency of taking multiple pictures of the same thing from just a slightly different angle.

You wouldn't believe the number of couples that took their wedding photos by Big Ben that day! I was lucky enough to capture this endearing moment between the first lovely couple I saw that day.

Don't mind me, I'm just being a creep again.

Hmm, I wonder what time it is...

After crossing the bridge, we decided to visit Westminster Abbey. Once we arrived, we realized there was a rally going on! I managed to snap this brief picture before moving along.

One of my favourite views in London.

Let's just take a moment to appreciate the architecture.

Casually pretending that I'm sitting on the steps to my own home instead of one in Westminster Abbey.

I hope my future house has black iron gates with pretty flowers growing by it.

Oh the people you meet while on vacation!

There's something so retro-looking about this picture that I love. It makes me feel like I'm a schoolgirl in An Education.

Mid-day food break!

 Post-meal museum trip!

I loved this room at the Tate Britain! I love just a giant mesh of different beautiful paintings all together; in fact, just the whole look of the room is almost as breathtaking as the paintings themselves.

After the museum, which we just briefly cruised through, we walked around the area a bit longer before we began our trek back across the Big Ben bridge.

It took me, no joke, around 200 tries to get a nice picture with Big Ben. After countless minutes of sorting, I finally found the right picture (the last one I put here). Unfortunately, I already deleted the extremely horrendous (and sadly numerous) photos of me half-blinking, with a double chin, or just in the middle of an unattractive pose, so here's just a few behind-the-scenes ones.

It's always quite obvious when it's happy hour in London.

Final view of the London Eye!

For dinner, my parents and I decided to go for sushi! What we realized was: a) The sushi was mouth-wateringly delicious, but b) the portions were waay too small.

And I'll end off tonight's post with this extremely talented street performer! I hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned for more parts. Thank you for reading!!
